An affordable eyewear chain will extend its South Florida presence into Broward County.

New York-based Warby Parker will open June 22 at 1015 E. Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The popular chain has outposts at Miami’s Wynwood and Coconut Grove neighborhoods and an upcoming location in Aventura Mall.

The Fort Lauderdale location will offer glasses, sunglasses and eye exams, which are only currently available at the Coconut Grove location.

Each Warby Parker store has a distinct design, and the Fort Lauderdale location was inspired by libraries and other civic spaces. While customers browse the brand’s collection of glasses, they will also be able to browse a collection of curated books.

Inside, the store will be decorated with beach-inspired artwork from Barcelona-based illustrator Sandra Navarroa, also known as Lalalimola.

The Warby Parker in the Town Center in Boca Raton opened in October 2018 and was the brand’s most recent opening in Florida. The brand has nearly 100 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
