Jeffrey L. Evans, Managing Director of Retail Leasing with The Comras Company, oversees various landlord and tenant representation assignments within the major urban and suburban hubs throughout South Florida and Nationally.

Since forging into brokerage in 2006, Evans has experienced a meteoric rise. Jeff has overseen the interests of national and regional retailers such as Sephora, Lululemon, Apple, AWAY, Capital One Bank, Nike, Starbucks, Amazon, Bowlero, Lucky Strike, Maple & Ash, Etta, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse, Ruby Tuesday, Lime Fresh Mexican, Texas de Brazil, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Shake Shack, Gyroville, Segafredo, Yogurtland, The Cheese Course, Sonic, Smashburger, UFC Gym, Crunch Fitness, Poggenpohl, Pandora, Goorin Bros, For Eyes Optical, Le Pain Quotidien, Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen, Havana 1957, Village Tavern, Ouzo Bay, Loch Bar, Twin Peaks, Pincho Factory, Five Guys, Bento Sushi, CREAM, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Tupelo Honey, Penguin, Warby Parker and YETI.

With a special focus on high profile street retail, regional malls and lifestyle centers, Evans has led the leasing efforts for multiple landlords. Representing The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, a 400,000 square foot lifestyle center, through his leasing efforts, Jeff helped to improve the tenant mix and increase the average rental rate by more than 40%. This generation of value, in turn enabled ownership to sell the asset for over $470 per square foot.

Jeff is currently working with several of the largest property owners along Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard, to assist in curating the proper mix of local, regional and national tenants. The five-block area boasts approximately 250,000 square feet of retail and café space. Las Olas Boulevard is among the ranks of areas like Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, historic Coconut Grove and the burgeoning East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.

Most recently, Evans and The Comras Company have been retained by Miami Worldcenter, a 27-acre mixed use project in downtown Miami with 300,000 SF of retail space. Working as an exclusive agent for the property since 2019, beyond his leasing efforts, Evans has assisted with the design strategy as well as curation of the retail merchandising mix of the project. Miami Worldcenter is scheduled to open in 2024.

Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Florida. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He resides in Weston, Florida with his wife and three children.
