Max Gelband is a leasing associate with the Comras Company specializing in restaurant and conventional retail leasing in the neighborhoods of South Miami, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Midtown, Wynwood, and Miami Beach. Max has worked with local landlords such as Alta Developers, Green Street Partners, Mayfair Advisors, Cymbal DLT, and Tricera Capital in addition to various third-party local landlord representation assignments.
He currently represents HYP Miami, Osmow’s Shawarma, NU Kitchen, Go Greek Yogurt, and Smorgasburg. Max has also transacted with tenants such as Apple Inc., The Melting Pot, and Rove Concepts.

Prior to joining the team Max spent his time between college, athletics, and the hospitality industry. At the age of sixteen he began his career under the tutelage of Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey, the owner of Frasca Hospitality in Boulder, Colorado. He then worked at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA in various roles eventually leading to an internship and consideration to their Corporate Management Training program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Max changed his plans and acquired his real estate license in the summer of 2020. He originally began his career as a residential sales associate before making the transition into the commercial industry.

Max attended San Diego State University and holds a B.A. in Communication along with a certificate of Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University. Max was also a member of numerous student organizations including Students Supporting Israel where he held the position of Vice President of Public Engagement.
