Michael Silverman, Director of Retail Leasing with The Comras Company has been with the Comras Company since the Summer of 2011.

Silverman has been involved in real estate leasing and development since 2004, commencing his career with Matthews Ventures Holdings, an Office/Hotel developer in Palm Beach, Florida. From there, Mr. Silverman joined KMC Construction in 2007, as a project manager, building hotels in Palm Beach and Broward County, before returning to school in 2009 to pursue an MBA.

Silverman oversees the South Florida interest of national and regional retailers such as Lucky Strike (national representation), Maple & Ash, Flight Club, Velvet Taco, AWAY, European Wax Center, Milan Laser, Five Guys, Gyroville, The Joint, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Big Chicken and many others; closing deals throughout South Florida.

Silverman has also worked on other projects such as Aventura ParkSquare, an approximate 500,000 square foot mixed-use development with 50,000 square feet of retail space. As the exclusive leasing agent for the property, Mr. Silverman has assisted with the design aspect of the project and has been instrumental in helping curate the “Fit City” concept at the project by bringing the Developer’s vision to reality.

Other notable projects include The Continuum in Miami Beach, a 24,000 square foot retail and restaurant property in the “South of Fifth” neighborhood, the Shoppes of West Avenue, an approximate 20,000 square foot retail center located at 959 West Avenue, the repositioning and lease up of 1500 Washington Avenue, an approximate 7,500 square foot multi-tenant restaurant property along with countless other properties in the South Florida market and currently the Brightline Train Station, an approx. 50,000 square foot retail component

One of Silverman’s most recent assignments is Miami Worldcenter, a 27-acre mixed-use project in downtown Miami with 300,000 square feet of retail space. As the exclusive agent for the property, Silverman has assisted with the design and strategy aspect of the retail merchandising mix curation and has been working on the project since 2019. Miami Worldcenter is now open and Tenant’s are opening to the Public.

Silverman received an MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business in 2011. He has been a licensed Real Estate Associate since 2004, has served on the ICSC Next Generation council since 2012 and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
