Steve Kalka

Steve is responsible for comprehensive oversight of acquisitions, asset management, and business plan execution of the firm’s real estate investment and development projects, as well as day to day operations of the brokerage business. Over the course of his career, Steve has participated in development and repositioning of projects totaling well over $1B in value, which include retail, office, condominium (residential and commercial), and multifamily properties. Prior to joining The Comras Company, Steve served as Director of Portfolio Management for Fifteen Group, an opportunity-driven real estate investment firm, with nationwide investments including over 3,000 multifamily units, 750,000 sf of commercial space, and multiple development projects. For the bulk of his career, Steve served as Vice President of Bayview Asset Management, LLC, a full-service mortgage investment firm with expertise in the analysis and management of distressed and performing mortgages, as well as commercial real estate. Steve holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Albany.
